Steelers Helmet

I had another fun and busy cake week. I had 2 cakes due this week, another Poinsettia Pot cake, and this 3D Helmet cake.

When my friend asked me to make a Steelers cake for her husband – my response was ‘Sure, is that a hockey team?’ Being that I live in Canada – I thought that was a good bet, but clearly I was wrong:) So considering I didn’t know who the Steelers were a week ago – I am ecstatic with how this cake turned out. The delivery went great:- My girlfriend thought she was just getting a football field cake with the logo on it – so she was blown away by the 3D helmet (the #58 is her husband’s favorite player). And as usual, this cake is 100% edible!
