Mr. Maker

It is Spring Break this week, and I have been having a lot of fun with my boys! We’ve been out & about and we’ve had some fun days at home.

There’s a Kids craft show on Treehouse called Mr. Maker – which my kids love! Today was an `at home` day for us, so we did a few Mr. Maker crafts. It was so much fun!

Here is what you`ll need:

  • Beads/Sequins/Peas/Lentils or All of them
  • A piece of Cardboard (I used artist canvases instead, painted to match my bedroom)
  • Elmer`s Glue
  • Twigs

Arrange your twigs on your cardboard so that they look like a tree. Once you have them placed where you like them, glue them to the cardboard. Put it aside to dry.

When it is dried enough, glue the beads/sequins etc. along the twigs to look like leaves, and place some along the bottom to look like grass or fallen leaves.

I actually liked the way they turned out so much that I put all three of them up in my bedroom. Together they make a really interesting piece of art.

Thank you Mr. Maker!
