Space Bedroom

As you might recall from an earlier post… I had painted my boys room with a Dora & Diego theme when we moved into this house. It appears as though I had not really thought through the consequence of choosing such a toddler concept, because here I am 2 years later – painting it again!

My boys are very into Space and Astronauts at the moment, so we decided on a Space themed bedroom. Keeping in mind that I don’t really want to be repainting this room every couple of years, I decided not to do the cutesy space rockets and aliens that I had originally intended. Instead I chose to a reality based Space bedroom.

It was a lot of fun to do and the boys loved learning about the planets, satellites, Space Station etc. Hopefully this theme will stay cool as the boys grow, so that I can wait at least 5 years before repainting this again:)
