Bajan Boy

We’ve been home for a few days now, and Xander has slowly started trying his hand at a Bajan accent.  Today we spent the afternoon at the Yacht Club with my childhood girlfriends, Melissa, Mellissa, Julie, Niska, Cindy and all of their kids. The kids had an amazing time together and all got along great!! Tonight I was getting the boys ready for bed and Ethan says, “Mom, can you please tell Xander to stop trying to speak with a Bajan accent?!?! He’s embarrassing me!!!! He keeps saying ‘yea booooy’ and he doesn’t even sound Bajan!! And he did it today in front of all those boys!” Xander says, “Well Erhan, I have to practice!!! Because one day I’m going to live here again and when I do, I need to sound like a regular person!!” Ethan says, “Gramma lives here and she doesn’t sound Bajan!!” Xander says, “But that’s different!! Gramma’s awesome!” lol
