Tired but Happy!

I am one exhausted lady! I spent the ENTIRE day yesterday making Mario themed cookies for Ethan’s birthday. I actually started icing them before breakfast yesterday morning thinking I could get them out of the way early and then I could have breakfast. Ha ha ha ha!

This was the first time I had ever ‘iced’ cookies. I had no idea how long it was going to take, I didn’t finish until almost 4pm! But at least they turned out pretty cute:)

Ethan decided that he wanted to take cookies to school with him instead of cupcakes – so I thought it would be cute to stick with the birthday party theme. This way – I made extra and can use them for the party too!

I’ll do a tutorial on them at some point, but not today. Today I am getting my house ready because…. my Mum is coming to visit:) She arrives tonight and I just can’t wait! It has been 3 months since I’ve seen her last – so we have lots of catching up to do! Well, not really – since I talk to her on Skype 3 times a day:) But I’m excited to see her, even if we have nothing to say to each other!
