Tuesday’s Tutorial {Reindeer Noses}
Every year Xander gets little gifts from all the kids in his class for Christmas. Last year, to reciprocate, we painted little ornaments for his class. It was a cute idea, but it took FOREVER!!! This year, considering we have 2 classes to worry about, I wanted something faster.
I came across an adorable idea on Pinterest… to give little bags of Reindeer Noses. If your interested in giving it a go – here’s how to do it!
Materials needed:
* A few big bags of Whoppers (if you are in the States) or Maltesers (if you are in Canada:) * A bag of Red round candies of a similar size to the Whoppers (I used Red Mints) * Little plastic baggies to put the candies in (I got mine from Michaels Craft Store) * Card stock (I used a brown card stock, but you could use white card) * A design for your label * A printer * A stapler
Please feel free to use the printable images I have, if you want to create your own Reindeer Noses treat bags! Just click on the links to get to the printable images. There is one image with brown in the background, and the other image is transparent (if you print on brown card stock use the transparent one). I used Whoppers (or Maltesers) for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner & Blitzen’s noses. And Rudolf got his own bright Red Mint nose! I put all 9 noses in the bags and then stapled the labels onto the tops of the bags. I put on the back of the bag what the candies were – so the parents would know. It was fast, and cheap and ever so freaking cute!!!
