Fishing Boat Cake
This cake was made for a commercial Lobster fisherman, for his 60th Birthday. The boat was based on a picture his daughter gave me of one of his boats. I am very pleased with how this turned out!
Due to the size and weight of this cake – I had to make it as 2 separate cakes. There is the ocean, which is one cake, and the boat which is a separate cake. The boat is on it’s own cake board, and there are a few straws through the ocean cake, under the boat – to support the weight of the boat. Other than that, everything on this cake is edible.
