Ice Rink Full

We have had such a mild winter this year, that the ice rink in our backyard has been sitting empty all season. I put the frame up in November because last year we were skating on it by the beginning of December. Well, we finally got a few days in a row that were below zero – so I decided to fill it a few days ago. We are having some of the kids friends over to skate on it today, so yesterday I sent them out to play on it to check if the ice was frozen all the way through. They spent the better part of half an hour swimming breast stroke across the rink:) But I think it is finally ready – just in time for us to go to 5 above on Saturday and melt!!
