It’s the Little Things {creating traditions of our own}

A few weeks ago, I posted about my favourite Christmas traditions that I brought into my family from my parents. This week is about my favourite Christmas traditions, mainly to do with the kids, that are new to our little family.

Breakfast with Santa Every year since Xander started school, we’ve gone to their breakfast with Santa. The food is great and the kids get their picture taken with Santa. It’s a nice start to our Christmas season.

Painting Wrapping Paper Being crafty is my thing, and luckily for me – my boys love it too! They especially love to paint, so I figured that we could kill 2 birds with 1 stone… They get to paint, and I get some very cute and original wrapping paper:)

Gingerbread Treats As I mentioned above, the kids love to be crafty… So every Christmas we make a Gingerbread treat of some kind, and leave it out for Santa.
