Christmas Came Early {for Mum & Dad, anyway}

We have been toying with the idea of buying a DSLR for years, but always had something more necessary to spend our limited funds on. My in-laws gave us some cash for Christmas, so we decided to add that to the camera fund and bite the bullet. YIPPEEE – Alex & I are giving each other a Canon for Christmas:)

Even though we are giving it to each other, I am under no illusions as to who the camera is really for (me), and I am SOOOO excited!!! Don’t worry – I’ve got Alex a little something extra to help compensate:)

Since it is really the only thing we are getting for Christmas, we had agreed that we wouldn’t use it. We would wrap it up, put it under the tree, and the first time we would use it would be Christmas morning.

Any guesses how that turned out???

I am loving the camera so far, but must admit that I haven’t got it all figured out just yet. But man, oh man – I am sure looking forward to trying!

I asked Alex to take a picture of me with the camera – and Ethan just had to get in on the action:)
