Beach Weekend

What a wonderful weekend we’ve had! Mum still isn’t quite over her Bronchitis, but she felt well enough for us to head to the beach both days this weekend. Since we were always moving with a minimum of 5 kids – the Yacht Club was the best place to go!

My parents recently became members of the Yacht Club again. When I was a child we were members, and then they gave it up when my borther & I got older. But now that they have a bunch of Grand-kids, they decided to join again.

The beauty of the Yacht Club versus any other beach on the island is convenience! When moving with 5 kinds under 7 – there is a lot of stuff that comes with you, so anything that can be eliminated makes life easier! The tables and chairs are already there. They have a place to bath and change the kids, which is especially important with the twins. And you can order your lunch there and don’t have to walk with food & drinks. Awesome!

Saturday my Mum and I took the boys down and met some of my friends and their kids there. On Sunday my Aunts, Cousins, nieces and nephews all came with us. It was lovely! My cousin Sean has a jet-ski, and he took the boys out on it and let them drive too. The had a blast!

It is so nice to be home!
