Happy Halloween

Buz & Woody – wishing you a Happy Halloween! We are in Barbados this year for Halloween. The problem? Halloween is not celebrated in Barbados. No candy, no trick, no treat – Oh my!

My kids LOVE Halloween. More specifically, they love eating all of the candy the get on Halloween (without Mum controlling every bite:). Since I grew up here, I knew that there is no trick-or-treating to be had – so I brought a bunch of candy down with me to make sure the kids got their fix:) Luckily one of the private schools on the island hosted a Halloween fundraising party, so the kids got to dress up and have some fun anyway.

My boys were inspired by Toy Story this year (actually, I bought these costumes last year in November for $4 each – and told them this is what they would be this year:). My sister-in-law came up with the cutest idea for her and the twins! Cat in the Hat with Thing 1 & Thing 2! How adorable is that??? And last, but DEFINITELY not least, my nephew was a Ninja!
