Wrap It Up:)

I have often said that I would rather build a deck or tile a kitchen than cook dinner! While I love to bake, cooking is just not my thing. Part of the reason for that, I think, is the fact that I have to cook a meal for my family EVERY SINGLE DAY – whereas with baking and building, I get to do it when the spirit catches me!

Coming up with the meal plan is often harder for me than cooking the actual meal. I am sick of making the same 8 things over and over again! But because I don’t have a love like for cooking, I don’t really want to take the time to research new ideas.

So when a friend mentioned that she was going to make wraps for dinner – I was VERY excited! I don’t know why, but I’ve never even considered adding something like wraps to my repartee. I always feel like I need to make a hot meal for some reason? I don’t know why…

Anyway, I went out and bought a lot of chicken breasts and fried up enough for 3 meals. I froze the cooked chicken for 2 of the meals, and made these beautiful wraps with the rest. The boys LOVED them and were so excited about being able to make their own, that Ethan even put lettuce on his wrap. This is going to become a staple for us!
