Character is…

THIS KID! Xander was given the Character Award at school yesterday. This is actually the 2nd time he has received this award, and words cannot express exactly how proud I am of him!

Anyone who knows Xan, knows exactly why he got this award. Of course, I am biased, but I think he is one of the sweetest, kindest, most empathetic kids I’ve ever known. I often wonder if he was just born like that, or if it is a product of all he has been through. He has been poked & prodded, stuck & cut more than any kid his age should ever have to be – but maybe that’s where his kind heart comes from?

Or maybe I’m just doing an awesome job as his Mum! Hahahaha:)
