What He’s Good For…

Bless his soul, my husband is the most un-handy (is that even a word?) man in the world. We have lived in 3 different homes together so far, and he is yet to hammer a nail into anything. I don’t think he even knows where I keep the hammer! I am the handyman of the family, and if there is something I can’t do, I call a service called ‘Dial-A-Husband‘ – I kid you not! His unwillingness to try anything construction related drives me insane and I am often left wondering exactly what it is he’s good for. Well, today he reminded me… Santa brought our kids a Wii for Christmas this year, but Santa couldn’t afford the Wii and the games at the same time – so we just have the games the Wii came with for now. Because of this, my kids haven’t been too interested in it, up until now. My wonderfully geeky husband hacked our Wii today, which now means that he can download games for it – YIPPEE! He has gotten all kinds of old school games that we used to play on the Nintendo when we were kids, and all 4 of us have been enjoying playing the games together. That’s what he’s good for!
